Folding writing boards consist of a combination of fixed central boards and swing-leave boards that have a writing surface on both sides. The boards are available in white writing boards, green or black chalkboards, or a combination.
Writing Surface: Vitreous Enamel
Vitreous enamel is a surface coating made when glass and steel are fused at high temperatures and form a 3-layered material. i.e. an inner steel layer, middle enamel layer, and outer glass layer. Due to the extreme surface hardness of vitreous enamel, this surface is non-porous and does not allow inks, acids, or alkalis to penetrate the surface.
